When it comes to secretary of state, Oregon needs someone who will rise above partisanship and make the right decisions. Kim Thatcher will do that. Her main opponent, Shemia Fagan, is a partisan hack who wants to turn this office into a platform to push her policy agenda and run for governor in a couple of years.

Plus, if you don't vote for Thatcher, she'll probably kill that puppy.
